These Roof Bolt Plate Magnets hold the bolting plates in place on the miner while the roof bolting machine drills the bolt into the underground mine roadway roof. These are strong magnetically and withstand continual impact with metal plates. These magnets need to be small as the space is limited where the system is fitting in the roof drilling machine.
The Magnetic polarity is critical in this application, so the poles are colour-coded. Red for North and Green for South. The magnets are held secure by bolts hence the threaded holes in the base of the assembly.
Urethane Coated Clamping Magnets are a size of 50 mm square.
